Meet Dr. Justin L. Nguyen

Justin L. Nguyen, D.M.D., M.D. specializes in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.  He received his Doctorate of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from Harvard University.  While there, he was elected class president and also held several international positions such as site director for Oral Health Across Nations (OHAN) and was selected to be an intern at the World Health Organization (WHO) / Pan American Health Organization (PAHO) headquarters in Washington, D.C.  In addition, as a student doctor, he rotated through the various Harvard teaching hospitals in Boston including Massachusetts General Hospital, Boston Children’s Hospital, and Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center.

Dr. Nguyen matched into his first choice for medical school and oral and maxillofacial surgery (OMFS) residency at Case Western Reserve University.  While there, he earned his Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree and subsequently served as an OMFS resident physician at some of the nation’s top hospitals in the country including the Cleveland Clinic, ranked #2 hospital in the country by U.S. News & World Report, as well as University Hospitals and Metrohealth Medical Centers, both level I trauma centers.  In addition, he served in this capacity at the Louis Stokes Cleveland Veteran Affairs (VA) Medical Center, the 3rd largest VA in the country.  He completed an internship in general surgery and spent extensive time rotating on other surgical subspecialties including Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, Trauma Surgery, Head and Neck Oncology, and Pediatric Surgery.

Dr. Nguyen is an active member of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, Northern Virginia Dental Society, American Dental Association, and American Medical Association.

In his spare time, Dr. Nguyen enjoys traveling and spending time with his family and friends.
